Mathieu Bernard

Strategic Advisor

Mathieu Bernard serves as a Strategic Advisor to East West Private Wealth (EWPW), leveraging his extensive background in financial markets, wealth solutions, and business development to aid EWPW’s global growth initiatives.

Mathieu was previously CEO of Exane Solutions from 2020 to 2022, where he spearheaded the establishment of the #1 Actively Managed Certificates franchise in Europe, providing cross asset investment solutions for wealth managers.

With a career that spans over 25 years in the equity and derivatives markets, Mathieu has held various leadership roles at major financial institutions including Nomura and Morgan Stanley. He began his career in 1998 as an options trader.

Outside the professional realm, Mathieu is keen on cycling and supports several educational foundations, reflecting his advocacy for equal opportunity.

He holds an MBA in Finance from HEC Paris and a Master’s degree in International Management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business.
