
Ophtalmologist
Dr. Ian Yeung is Clinical Director at Eye Health Africa, a non-governmental organization (NGO) working in Uganda. Working as a Locum Consultant at Moorfields at St George’s Hospital, Ian also does medical retina & uveitic work for Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
His sub-specialty training includes fellowships in ophthalmic pathology at the Laboratory of Immunology (LI), National Eye Institute (NEI), National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD, USA, and in retina and uveitis with Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Hong Kong University.
Dr. Yeung graduated from Oxford University in 1999 with an undergraduate degree in Physiological Sciences and went on to complete a post-graduate degree in Clinical Medicine at Cambridge University in 2002. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists (FRCOphth) and Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd). His academic output is as below:
